Dr. Jonathan Berns is originally from Cedar Rapids, IA. He received his bachelor of science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois. Dr. Berns is a second generation chiropractor and has known his entire life that he wanted to dedicate himself to helping people live a healthier life through natural Chiropractic care. He followed in his father’s footsteps and received his doctorate from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.

 

After graduating from Palmer, Dr. Berns interned and was an associate doctor in one of the largest family practices in all of Florida. From there, Dr. Berns went on to open LifeSource Family Chiropractic with his wife Dr. Erica Berns in February 2007. LifeSource Family Chiropractic has quickly become the largest family oriented Chiropractic office in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area.

Dr. Erica Berns is originally from Warwick, RI. She received her bachelor of science degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Dr. Erica Berns became interested in Chiropractic as a career after she was helped with lifelong allergies by a local Chiropractor in Rhode Island. She too received her doctorate from Palmer College. Dr. Erica Berns received postgraduate training as an intern and associate doctor in the largest chiropractic practice in Rhode Island. She then joined her future husband in Florida and they started LifeSource Family Chiropractic together in 2007.

Both doctors are very active in the community and help sponsor many local youth programs and sports teams. They are the hosts of the “Optimal Health” radio show that can be heard in the Bay Area on 570AM on Saturdays from 9-10AM. Both doctors are sought active speakers for school, church, and civic organizations on topics ranging from health and wellness to personal power and motivation. Drs. Berns have taken extensive postgraduate training in the area of spinal correction and are both certified in the Precision Spinal Correction technique. They are members of the Florida Chiropractic Association, the International Chiropractors Association, the World Chiropractic Alliance, the Florida Chiropractic Society, and the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce.
